Annapurna Base Camp Trek

Annapurna region is located at the north central part of Nepal that consists of Mt. Annapurna (the 10th highest mountain in the world); Fishtail Mountain; Glacier Dome; Gangapurna and other peaks. The trek to its base camp has been one of the most popular treks to experience the typical Nepali cultures and to observe the best of the nature. The opportunity to stay at the heart of the mountain is experienced passing through the terrace farms, ethnic villages, stone staircases, water falls, temples, rhododendron forests and varieties of wildlife. The beauty of the snow-capped mountain, best sunrise view imparting various colors on the mountain, the cold wind giving the chills down the spine and heart can be the best experience gained through the ABC trek.

Itinerary:

Day 1:Arrive at Kathmandu, transfer from airport to hotel.
Day 2:From Kathmandu to Pokhara by bus or flight, Stay overnight in Pokhara…Altitude: 820m.
Day 3:Drive from Pokara to Nayapul,takes 1 hour and then Trek from Nayapul to Ulleri, takes
5 hours… Altitude: 1,960m .
Day 4:Trek from Nayapul to Ghorepani, takes 5/6hrs…Altitude: 2,800m.
Day 5:Trek from Gorepani to Poonhill for sunrise & view and back to Tadapani, takes 4-5 hours…Altitude: 2,630m.
Day 6:Trek from Tadapani to Chhomrung, takes 5 hours…Altitude: 2,170m.
Day 7:Trek from Chumrung to Dobhan, takes 5-6 hours…Altitude: 2,600m.
Day 8:Trek from Doban to Machhapuchhare Base Camp,takes 5 hours…Altitude: 3,700m.
Day 9:Trek from Machhapuchhare Base Came to Annapurna Base Camp (4,200m) and trek back to Himalaya takes 6/7 hour
Day 10:Trek from Himalaya to Jhinu (hot springs), takes 5/6 hours…Altitude: 1,780m.
Day 11:Trek from Jhinu to Landruk, takes 4 hours…Altitude: 1,600m.
Day 12:Trek from Landruk to Dhampus Altitude ..1,650m, takes 5/6 hours.
Day 13:Trek from dhampus to Fedi takes 1-2 hour and then Drive from Fedi to Pokhara.
Day14:From pokhara to Kathmandu by bus or flight.
Day 15:Departure from Kathmandu to your onward destination.

NOTE:  The itinerary for this trek is always flexible i.e. the duration of this trek can be both increased and decreased as per the traveller’s schedule and length of the holidays. The Himalayan region of Nepal have unexpected challenges in health and natural conditions so the itinerary might be modified or changed as to fulfill the desires of the clients providing the best security. As the flight schedules on Himalayan region are weather dependent, the time of the flight might be changed according to the weather forecasted.
