Chitwan National park is one of the first wildlife conservation area established in1973 in Nepal and is included in UNESCO World Heritage site. The park offers wonderful wildlife safari trip for every travelers providing habitat for over 50 species of mammals, more than 400 types of birds, and 67 different types of butterflies. The entire enchanting jungle is covered with variety of flora and fauna as the Royal Bengal Tiger, wild elephant, wild boar, about 450 endangered one horned rhinoceros, leopard, and wild gaur bison. Another way to experience the wild world is by jeep or elephant back viewing some of the rare species of flora and fauna. This park provides an escape from polluted atmosphere and crowds. The nature lovers can also go on foot in to the park escorted by well-trained naturalist who will interpret the concealed secrets of the jungle and enjoy canoeing.
