Dudhkunda Trek

The Dudh Kunda lies high in the mountains of the southern Solukhumbhu directly under the Numbur Himal Range. The place is well known for its milky water (Milky pond) and is perfect for nature lovers. Many consider Dudh Kunda trekking site as the adobe of Lord Shiva so as one dips in the holy icy water new sense of peace and comfort can be felt. Once a year, a fair is held on the auspicious day of Janai Purnima in which the prayers and the priests from various corners of the country come to wipe off their sins. From the lake vicinity, panoramic views of the Everest Himalaya range and surrounding Himalayas with green forest, Rhododendron flowers, wild animals, birds and pine tree can be enjoyed.
