Everest Kalapathar Trek
Kala Patthar which means ‘black rock’ in Nepali is a notable landmark located on the southern part of Pumori which is very popular trekking route of Nepal. The trek offers opportunity to tour around Sagarmatha National Park, a home to varied diversity of Himalayan greeneries and faunas. It provides the most accessible point to view Mt. Everest from base camp to peak along with the spectacular views of NuptseNup II and Changtse. The world’s highest webcam, Mount Everest webcam, is located here. Along the way, different tea houses, forests, etiquettes of the indigenous people can be encountered that will make the tour more remarkable.
|Day 01 :||Arrival at Kathmandu, tranfer from the airport to hotel.|
|Day 02 :||Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla(2827m), trek from Lukla to Phakding (2610m) takes about 3-4 hour.|
|Day 03 :||Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazar (3440m) takes about 5-6 hour.|
|Day 04 :||Acclimatization day ( visit Namche Bazar ).|
|Day 05 :||Trek from Namche Bazar to Dole (4110m) takes about 5-6 hour.|
|Day 06 :||Trek from Dole to Machhermu (4470m) 4-5 hour.|
|Day 07 :||Trek from Machhermu to Gokyo Lake (4790m) takes about 4-5 hour.|
|Day 08 :||Trek from Gokyo Lake to Thangna (4700m) takes about 6-7 hour.|
|Day 09 :||Trek from Thangna to (chola pass) Zongla (4830m) takes about 6-7 hour.|
|Day 10 :||Trek from Zongla to Labuche (4910m) takes about 4-5 hour.|
|Day 11 :||Trek from Labuche to Gorakchhep (5140m) takes about 4-5 hour.|
|Day 12 :||Early morning clime to Kalapather (5545m) then trek down to Labuche(4910m) takes about 6-7 hour.|
|Day 13 :||Trek from Labuche to Dinboche (4360m) takes about 5-6 hour.|
|Day 14 :||Trek from Dinboche to Tyanboche (3860m) takes 5-6 hour.|
|Day 15 :||Trek from Tyanboche to Manju (2835m) takes about 6-7 hour.|
|Day 16 :||Trek from Manju to Lukla (2827m) takes about 5-6 h.|
|Day 17 :||Fly from lukla to Kathmandu.|
|Day 18 :||Rest day , shoping, sightseeing.|
|Day 19 :||Departure from Kathmandu to your onward destination.|
NOTE: The itinerary for this trek is always flexible i.e. the duration of this trek can be both increased and decreased as per the traveller’s schedule and length of the holidays. The Himalayan region of Nepal have unexpected challenges in health and natural conditions so the itinerary might be modified or changed as to fulfill the desires of the clients providing the best security.
