Ghale Gaun Trek

Ghale Gaun is a Gurung village which lies on the lap of the Annapurna range at the height of 2095 m.It is a popular, easiest and newly opened trekking route through the green dense rhododendron forests, grasslands, wonderful rural settlements, splendid waterfalls. The Gurung village provides warm and comfortable stay with the splendid views of Mt. Machhapuchhare (6693m), Mt. Annapurna (8091m), Annapurna II (7939m), Annapurna IV (7525m), Lamjung Himal, Boudha Himal ((6974m), Himalchuli (6747m). The Gurung community is influenced by some Tibetan culture and the unique and beautiful landscapes, traditional lifestyle, great hospitality, home stay accommodation makes the trekking memorable and lively.

Itinerary:

Day 01:Arrival at Kathmandu, transfer from the airport to hotel.
Day 02:Sightseeing in Kathmandu and some preparations for the trek.
Day 03:Drive from Kathmandu to Khudi. Altitude: 790m.
Day 04:Trek from Khudi to Ghalegaun. Altitude: 2020m.
Day 05:Trek from Ghalegaun to Baghunpani. Altitude: 1595m.
Day 06:Trek from Baghunpani to Laxmi Bazar.
Day 07:Trek from Laxmi Bazar to Begnas Lake and drive back to Pokhara.
Day 08:Drive or fly from Pokhara to Kathmandu.
Day 09:Departure from Kathmandu to your onward destination.

NOTE: The itinerary for this trek is always flexible i.e. the duration of this trek can be both increased and decreased as per the traveller’s schedule and length of the holidays. The Himalayan region of Nepal have unexpected challenges in health and natural conditions so the itinerary might be modified or changed as to fulfill the desires of the clients providing the best security.
