Helambu is a region of highland villages in Nepal and is the home of the Hyolmo people. The normal trailhead starts off at Sundarijal and goes past Chisopani, Hyolmo, Kutumsang, Magin Goth, Tharepati, Malemchigaun, Nakote and Hyolmo, Tarke Gyang.Helambu trek offers breathtaking scene of pine forest, slow moving rivers and swift mountain streams, rugged rock and snow-capped peaks, grassy downs and meadows strewn with daisies and wild primulas. Besides easy and best trekking, the trek offers a wide range of cultures and spectacular scene, beautiful peaks over 6000 m like Langtang Ri, Ganesh Himal, Lang Sisa, Chorkari Ri. The trekkers can explore the village of Langtang which is famous for the centuries old culture resembling Tibet.
|Day 01:||Arrival at Kathmandu, transfer from the airport to hotel.|
|Day 02:||Drive from Kathmandu to Sundarijal, by local bus and it takes about 1 hour. Trek from Sundarijal to Chisapani(2165m), takes about 5-6 hours.|
|Day 03:||Trek from Chisapani to Kutumsang(2470m), takes about 6-7 hours.|
|Day 04:||Trek from Kutumsang to Mangkenkot(3420m), takes about 4-5 hours.|
|Day 05:||Trek from Mangkenkot to Thadepati(3690m), takes about5-6 hours.|
|Day 06:||Trek from Thadepati to MelamchiGaun(2520m), takes about 4-5 hours.|
|Day 07:||Trek from MelamchiGaun to Tarkekyang(2600m),takes about 5-6 hours.|
|Day 08:||Trek from Tarkekyang to Sermathang(2590m), takes about 4-5 hours.|
|Day 09:||Trek from Sermathang to Kakani(1998m), takes about 4-5 hours.|
|Day 10:||Drive from Kakani to Kathmandu.|
|Day 11:||Departure from Kathmandu to your onward destination.|
NOTE: The itinerary for this trek is always flexible i.e. the duration of this trek can be both increased and decreased as per the traveller’s schedule and length of the holidays. The Himalayan region of Nepal have unexpected challenges in health and natural conditions so the itinerary might be modified or changed as to fulfill the desires of the clients providing the best security.
