Khopra Trek

Khopra Khayar Lake Trek is newly open and easily accessible beaten trekking trail in Annapurna region along the Ghorepani Poon hill trek. Khayar Trekking area is taken as an attractive trekking trail as it a mixture of both traditional culture and exceptional mountain views like Mt. Dhaulagiri including lots of other Himalayas. Apart from the scenic variety of the peaks, the warmth and generosity of the Gurung people all along the Khayar Trek will fascinated every nature lover. Khayar Lake located at an altitude of 4,500 meters, different Hindu temple, attractive monasteries for Buddhist, pleasant environment will freshen up the travellers giving new experience of life.


Day 01:Arrival at Kathmandu, transfer from the airport to hotel.
Day 02:Sightseeing in Kathmandu and some preparations for the trek.
Day 03:Drive or fly from Kathmandu to Pokhara.
Day 04:Drive from Pokhara to Galeswor and trek to Bus Kharka, takes about 3 hours. Altitude: 1525m.
Day 05:Trek from Bus Kharka to Nagi, takes about 5-6 hours. Altitude: 2230m.
Day 06:Trek from Nagi to Mahore, takes about 6-7 hours. Altitude: 3300m.
Day 07:Trek fromMahore to DandaKharka, takes about 2-3 hours, Altitude: 2800m.
Day 08:Trek fromDandaKharka to Tikot, takes about 6-7 hours ,Altitude: 2300m.
Day 09:Trek fromTikot to Swanta, takes about 6-7 hours,Altitude: 2200m.
Day 10:Trek fromSwanta to Chistibung, takes about 4-5 hours, Altitude: 3000m.
Day 11:Trek fromChistibung to Khopra, takes about 5-6 hours,Altitude: 3660m.
Day 12:Trek from Khopra to Khayar lake. Altitude: 4600m.
Day 13:Trek from Khayar lake to Narchyang, takes about 5-6 hours. Altitude: 1510m.
Day 14:Trek fromNarchyang to Tatopani, takes about 5-6 hours. Altitude: 1190m.
Day 15:Drive from Tatopani to Pokhara.
Day 16:Drive or fly from Pokhara to Kathmandu.
Day 17:Departure from Kathmandu to your onward destination.

NOTE: The itinerary for this trek is always flexible i.e. the duration of this trek can be both increased and decreased as per the traveller’s schedule and length of the holidays.
