Lower Mustang Trek

Lower mustang is loaded with terrific beauty of the nature ranging from the highly snow-capped peaks to the unparalleled beauty of the Mother Nature. Tree less barren ridges, deep canyons, steep rocky trails, slopes and cliff, colossal mountains, Thakali influenced culture, Tibetan history are some of the main attractions that can only be experienced in the Mustang region of Nepal. Mixed cultures of both Tibetan and Nepalese cultures can be well understood that provide the finest trekking memory.

Itinerary:

Day 01:Arrival at Kathmandu, transfer from the airport to hotel.
Day 02:From Kathmandu to Pokhara by bus or flight, stay overnight in Pokhara.
Day 03:Fly from Pokhara to Jomsom, Altitude: 2,720m.
 Day 04:Trek from Jomsom to Kagbeni takes about 3-4 hour, Altitude: 2,800m.
Day 05:Trek from Kagbeni to Muktinath takes about 4-5 hour, Altitude 3,780m.
Day0 6:Trek from Muktinath to Lupra takes about 5-6 hour.
 Day 07:Trek from Lupra to Jomsom takes about 5-6 hour.
Day 08:Trek from Jomsom to Thini takes about 3,4 hour, Altitude: 2,860m.
Day 09:Trek from Thini to Marfa takes about 5-6 hour, Altitude:2670m.
Day 10:Trek from Marfa to Larjung takes about 4-5 hour, Altitude: 2,550m.
Day 11:Drive from Larjung to Tatopani (hot spring).
Day 12:Drive from Tatopani to Pokhara.
Day 13:Drive or fly Pokhara to Kathmandu.
Day 14:Departure.

NOTE:  The itinerary for this trek is always flexible i.e. the duration of this trek can be both increased and decreased as per the traveller’s schedule and length of the holidays. The Himalayan region of Nepal have unexpected challenges in health and natural conditions so the itinerary might be modified or changed as to fulfill the desires of the clients providing the best security. As the flight schedules on Himalayan region are weather dependent, the time of the flight might be changed according to the weather forecasted.
