Manaslu Circuit Trek

Manaslu  is the eighth highest mountain in the world at 8,163 m located in the Mansiri Himal in the west-central part of Nepal that means “mountain of the spirit”. The major Himalayas as Himal chuli (7,893 m), Ngadi Chuli (7,871 m), Shringi (7,187 m), Langpo (6,668 m) and Saula (6,235 m) gives marvelous view. On addition to this, the trek requires a Restricted Area Permit of $50 per week. Apart from climbing the Mt. Manaslu, the traveller can enjoy the Gurung communities living on the scattered route of the trek area, different agricultural farming methods, lifestyle of the various groups of the people of western culture of Nepal. This trek is best for the one who is seeking the trek on the remote areas of Nepal .

Itinerary:

Day 01:Arrival at Kathmandu, tranfer from the airport to hotel.
Day 02:Sightseeing in Swayambhu, Boudha, Pashupatinath, and preparation for the trek.
Day 03:Drive from Kathmandu to Baluwa. Altitude: 1000m.
Day 04:Trek from Baluwa to Barpak.
Day 05:Trek from Barpak to Laprag. It takes about 5 hours. Altitude: 2200m.
Day 06:Trek from Laprag to Khorla. It takes about 6-7 hours. Altitude: 970m.
Day 07:Trek from Khorla to Jagat. It takes about 6 hours. Altitude: 1410m.
Day 08:Trek from Jagat to Piya. It takes about 6 hours. Altitude: 2340m.
Day 09:Trek from Piya to Ghap. It takes about 6 hours. Altitude: 21600m.
Day 10:Trek from Ghap to Lho. It takes about 6 hours. Altitude: 31800m.
Day 11:Trek from Lho to Samagaun. It takes about 5 hours. Altitude: 35300m.
Day 12:Acclimatization day in Samagaun.
Day13:Trek from Samagaun to Samdo, it takes 4-5 hour. Altitude: 3690m.
Day 14:Trek from Samdo to Dharamashala,it takes 3-4 hour. Altitude: 4470m.
Day15:Trek from Dharmashala to Bintang,( Larke pass altitude:5106m) it takes 8-9 hour. Altitude: 3720m.
Day 16:Trek from Bintang to Tiliche, it takes 5,6 hour. Altitude: 2300m.
Day17:Trek from Tiliche to Jagat, it takes 4-5 hour . Altitude : 1300m.
Day18:Trek from Jagat to Nadi and then drive from Nadi to Besisahar.
Day19:Drive from Besisahar to Kathmandu.
Day 20Departure from Kathmandu to your onward destination.

NOTE:  The itinerary for this trek is always flexible i.e. the duration of this trek can be both increased and decreased as per the traveller’s schedule and length of the holidays. The Himalayan region of Nepal have unexpected challenges in health and natural conditions so the itinerary might be modified or changed as to fulfill the desires of the clients providing the best security.
