Pike Peak Trek
Pike peak lies on the south of the original Everest trail in the Khumbu region with the altitude of 4090 m which is the less visited route in Solukhumbu. It provides awestricking view of Mt. Everest, Mt. Makalu, Mt. Kanchanjunga, Mt. AmaDablam, Mera Peak, Numbur Himal, Gauri Shankar, DudhKundaHimal and the view of sunrise and sunset. Varieties of the flora and fauna, dense Rhododendron forest, terrace fields, Nagur cheese factory, local cultures, traditions, art, Sherpa villages make the trek worthy to cherish for the whole life.
|Day 01:||Arrival at Kathmandu, transfer from the airport to hotel.|
|Day 02:||Drive from Kathmandu to Bandar, takes about 8-9 hours. Altitude: 2190m.|
|Day 03:||Drive from Bandar to Namkhili, takes about 5 hours, Overnight in Namkhili. Altitude: 2200m.|
|Day 04:||Trek from Namkhili to Ngawar Gumpa(monastery),takes about 5-6 hours. Altitude: 3350m. Overnight in Ngawar.|
|Day 05:||Trek from Ngawar Gumpa to Pike Peak Base Camp, takes about 4-5 hour. Altitude: 3730m. Overnight in Pike Peak Base Camp.|
|Day 06:||Trek from Pike Peak Base Camp to Japre, takes about 6-7 hour, Altitude: 2870m. Overnight in Japre.|
|Day 07:||Trek from Japre to Lapcha(Gorakhani). Overnight in Lapcha.|
|Day 08:||Trek from Lapcha to Pattale. Altitude: 2840m. Overnight in Pattale.|
|Day 09:||Trek from Pattale to Chyalsa Tibetian Settlement. Altitude: 2770m. Overnight in Chyalsa.|
|Day 10:||Trek from Chyalsa to Phaplu. Altitude: 2469m. Overnight in Phaplu.|
|Day 11:||Fly from Phaplu to Kathmandu. Overnight at a hotel in Kathmandu.|
|Day 12:||Free day to relax, shopping and anything which you prefer.|
|Day 13:||Departure from Kathmandu to your onward destination.|
NOTE: The itinerary for this trek is always flexible i.e. the duration of this trek can be both increased and decreased as per the traveller’s schedule and length of the holidays. The Himalayan region of Nepal have unexpected challenges in health and natural conditions so the itinerary might be modified or changed as to fulfill the desires of the clients providing the best security.
As the flight schedules on Himalayan region are weather dependent, the time of the flight might be changed according to the weather forecasted.
