Tsum Valley Trek

Located on the north of Gorkha, Tsum valley has abundant richness in the ancient art, tradition, culture, customs, religion and has its own unique sacred religious vibes. Shedding the magnificent views of Ganesh Himal, Boudha Himal, Sringi Himal, Himalchuli in the background, the valley is full of enthusiastic stoned pavements, hand carved Buddhist prayers preserved on the stones, stupas, chortens. The valley is inhabited by Tsumbas and is rich in wildlife with mainly Himalayan Thar and Blue sheep in scanty number. The valley also preserves the old Buddhist culture with most of the people influenced by the Tibetan culture. On addition to it, varieties of the dialects, monasteries, gumbas as RachenGumba, Mu Gumba and Gumba Lungdang can be observed and provides good place for meditation.

Itinerary:

Day 01:Arrival at Kathmandu, transfer from the airport to hotel.
Day 02:Trek from Kathmandu to Arughat, takes 5 hours…Altitude: 670m.
 Day 03:Trek from Arughat to Liding…Altitude: 860m.
Day 04:Trek from Liding to Machhakhola camp…Altitude: 930m.
Day 05:Trek from Machhakhola to Jagat, takes about 5 hours…Altitude: 1410m.
Day 06:Trek from Jagat to Lokpa, takes 6 hours…Altitude: 2040 m.
Day 07:Trek from Lokpa to Chumling, takes 7 hours…Altitude: 2361m (Lower Tsum).
Day 08:Trek from chumling to Chhokangparo, takes 5 hours…Altitude: 3100m (Upper Tsum).
Day 09:Trek from Chhokangparo to Nile, takes 5 hours…Altitude: 3360m.
Day 10:Trek from Nile to Mu Gompa, takes 3 hours…Altitude: 3700m.
Day 11:Trek from Mu gompa to Rachen gompa…Altitude: 3240m.
Day 12:Trek from Rachen Gompa to Dumje, takes 5 hours…Altitude: 2440m.
Day 13:Trek from Dumje to Gumba Lungdand, takes 7 hours…Altitude: 3200m.
Day 14:Trek from Gomba Lungdang to Ripchet, takes 5 and ½ hours..Altitude: 2468m.
Day 15:Trek from Ripche to Dobhan, takes 5 hourrs…Altitude: 1070m.
Day 16:Trek from Dobhan to Soti Khola, takes 5 hours…Altitude: 720m.
Day 17:Trek from Soti Khola to Arughat, takes 5 hours…Altitude: 535m.
Day 18:Drive from Arughat  to Kathmandu …Altitude: 1350m.
Day 19:Kathmandu, free day for sightseeing , shoping.
Day 20:Departur from Kathmandu to your onward distination.

 NOTE:   The itinerary for this trek is always flexible i.e. the duration of this trek can be both increased and decreased as per the traveller’s schedule and length of the holidays.
